Barlow & Co Bannetons

Our solid Beech Wood Bannetons are turned in the USA from locally and sustainably harvested logs. These bowls are perfect for proofing your artisan loaf. We line it with a cotton flour sack cloth (included) while proofing to eliminate the need to flour the bowl. Why do we love them?

Like all of our products, we do not use any stains or dyes. They are hand rubbed with our food safe bee's wax wood conditioning oil. As a natural wood product, the grain and color may vary from the photos.

Care Instructions:

• Do not place in dishwasher
• Hand wash only with soap and warm water.  Dry immediately.
• We recommend using our wood conditioner to keep it looking its best
• As a natural product, the wood may require some TLC after some use.  If necessary, give it a light sand and apply some food-grade oil and watch it shine!
