Shipping policy

IMPORTANT: Shipping is calculated by each vendor.  If you have products from multiple vendors in your cart, you will also have multiple shipping charges. 

Many vendors offer free shipping after reaching a minimum purchase amount of their products.  Products from other vendors do not count toward their minimum purchase amount.

Our vendors are committed to getting your order to you as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please review our shipping policy below.

Processing Time

Drop-Shipped Items: Most items in our store are shipped directly from our trusted vendors. These orders typically begin processing within 1-5 business days of order placement.  Made-to-order products are and exception and will ship when the vendor has completed making the product.

Shipped from Made by Main Street: Orders shipped from our facilities are processed within 1-5 business days.

Important Note: Processing times do not include shipping transit time. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays.

Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

Once your order has been processed, delivery times vary based on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout:

  • Standard Shipping: 5-10 business days
  • Expedited Shipping: 3-5 business days
  • Express Shipping: 1-3 business days

Please note that delivery times are estimates and not guarantees. Actual delivery times may vary due to carrier delays, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are determined by the vendor and are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Your delivery address
  • The weight and dimensions of your items
  • Your selected shipping method

Free shipping promotions are occasionally offered by our vendors. Promotional terms will be clearly displayed on our website and during checkout.

Domestic Shipping

Our vendors currently ship to all 50 U.S. states, including Alaska and Hawaii. Please note that orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories may require additional processing and shipping time.

International Shipping

At this time, we and our vendors do not offer international shipping.  If you live outside the United States and placed an order, please contact us for a refund of your purchase.  You will need proof of purchase for the refund to be processed.  Refunds can take up to 30 days to be processed.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. Please allow 24-48 hours for tracking information to become active in the carrier's system.

Drop-Shipped Orders: You may receive multiple tracking numbers if your order contains items from different suppliers. Each item will ship separately and may arrive on different days.

Multiple Item Orders

If you order multiple items, they may ship separately depending on supplier availability and location. You will receive separate tracking numbers for each shipment. This helps us get your items to you as quickly as possible.

P.O. Boxes and Military Addresses

We ship to P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO/DPO military addresses using USPS. Please note that expedited and express shipping options may not be available for these addresses, and delivery times may be extended.

Address Accuracy

Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. If you realize you've entered an incorrect address, please contact us immediately at support@madebymainstreet.com so we can attempt to update it before shipment.  All orders are processed and shipped by the vendor, not Made by Main Street.  If an address is entered incorrectly, we cannot guarantee we can contact the vendor in time to correct the address.

Address Changes: Once an order has shipped, we cannot modify the delivery address. Please contact the carrier directly using your tracking number to request delivery changes.

Incorrect or Damaged Items

Our vendors take great care in fulfilling your order, but occasionally mistakes happen. 

The shipping provider is be responsible for damage that happens during shipping. It is your responsibility to report damage from shipping to the shipping provider and seek financial restitution.

Made by Main Street and our vendors are not responsible for damage that may occur due to the shipper's handling of the package.

Please refer to our Return Policy if you need to request a return.

Lost or Stolen Packages

If tracking shows your package was delivered but you did not receive it:

  1. Check with household members or neighbors
  2. Look around your delivery location for safe placement
  3. Contact the carrier to file a claim
  4. Contact us at support@madebymainstreet.com and we'll do our best to assist you in resolving the issue

We are not responsible for packages marked as delivered by the carrier. However, we will work with you and the carrier to investigate missing packages.

Undeliverable Packages

If a package is returned to us or the vendor as undeliverable due to an incorrect address, multiple failed delivery attempts, or refusal of delivery, you will be responsible for the cost of reshipping. We will contact you to arrange reshipment and collect any additional shipping fees.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

As we currently only ship within the United States, customers are not responsible for customs duties or international taxes. Applicable state and local sales taxes will be calculated at checkout.

Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel your order, please contact us immediately at support@madebymainstreet.com. We'll do our best to stop the shipment, but we cannot guarantee cancellation once an order has been processed or shipped. Please refer to our Return Policy for information about returning items that have already shipped.

Holiday and Peak Season Shipping

During peak shopping seasons (including but not limited to Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and December holidays), please allow additional processing and shipping time due to high order volumes. We recommend placing holiday orders early to ensure timely delivery.
