Welcome to Dot and Army

If you have been looking for a simple, beautiful way to cut down on paper waste in your home without sacrificing style, Dot & Army is exactly what you have been searching for. Founded by Jennifer Zamudio in coastal Brunswick, Georgia, Dot & Army is a small-batch manufacturing company that handcrafts cloth napkins, unpaper towels, reusable produce bags, bread bags, and other thoughtful home goods, all sewn right here in the United States. Every piece is purposely made and thoughtfully curated, bringing color, warmth, and everyday joy to the tables and kitchens of real families.

What makes Dot & Army truly special is the heart behind every stitch. Jennifer has been sewing since she was eight years old, and her passion for making beautiful things by hand has never wavered. She started her own family on cloth napkins and unpaper towels years ago, and the difference she saw, in waste reduction, in cost savings, and in the simple pleasure of a well-set table, inspired her to share that with the world. These are not factory products. They are made by a real person, in a real studio, with fabrics she handpicks herself. And that difference shows.

About Us

A Love of Making

My name is Jennifer Zamudio and I am the owner and designer at Dot & Army. I began sewing with my mother when I was eight years old, and fell in love with the fact that I could make beautiful things with my hands that I would use in my everyday life. I have learned a few things since then, but never lost the love of making beautiful everyday goods that make life a little more pleasant and enjoyable. Our goal is to provide everyday, sustainable essentials that will help you take care of your family, entertain your friends, and add a pop of color to your home.

From Hobby to Business

Jennifer grew up in San Diego, majored in art in college, and spent several years working as a teacher. All along, the sewing machine was never far from reach. What started as a hobby, making colorful cloth napkins as gifts for friends, quickly turned into something bigger when friends and family could not get enough. She set up a booth at her local farmers market, opened an Etsy shop, and before long, wedding coordinators were reaching out to place large orders. It was the affirmation she needed to take the plunge.

When her family, including husband Robert and their two sons Danny and Gavin, made the move to Brunswick, Georgia to be closer to family, Jennifer made the leap to pursue Dot & Army full time. Production moved into the family home, grew from room to room, and eventually outgrew the house entirely, leading Jennifer to set up her first commercial studio space.

The Name Behind the Brand

You might be wondering: who are Dot and Army? They are Jennifer's maternal grandparents, two people who set the bar extraordinarily high when it came to kindness, generosity, and service. Naming her company after them was a way to honor their legacy and carry those same values into every product she makes and every customer she serves.

Rooted in Community, Made in the USA

Dot & Army is based in Brunswick, Georgia, and operates out of a studio at 1426 Newcastle Street. Jennifer is deeply committed to keeping all sewing done in the United States, never outsourcing production. Every fabric is handpicked by Jennifer herself, sourced from estate sales, thrift stores, and curated online fabric shops, so no two collections are exactly alike. The result is a product line that feels personal, intentional, and genuinely one of a kind.
