A Mother's Mission
My Neighbor's began as a deeply personal journey to find safe, effective skincare. Harri Magaldi, the brand's founder, was a new mother living in New York's Hudson Valley when her daughter Wilhelmina developed eczema. Frustrated by conventional products loaded with synthetic ingredients and toxic additives, she went searching for something better — and rediscovered a centuries-old solution: tallow-based skincare.
What started as a personal remedy quickly became a calling. Harri left behind a career on Wall Street to build something meaningful — a brand grounded in sustainability, simplicity, and the timeless healing power of nature. My Neighbor's was born from that leap of faith.
Crafted with Care, Rooted in Heritage
My Neighbor's is a female-founded, mother-owned brand that handcrafts its skincare in small batches using both tallow-based and vegan formulations — always with integrity and intention. Their animal-based products feature grass-fed and finished tallow from regenerative farms in New York's Hudson Valley, including Kinderhook and Liberty Farms. For their vegan line, they use only organic, non-GMO, and regeneratively grown botanicals.
Every ingredient is thoughtfully sourced — often directly from the farmers and makers — using traditional methods like dry rendering to preserve nutrients. The result is skincare that's rich in vitamins, omega fatty acids, and time-honored wisdom.
From the Hudson Valley to Your Home
My Neighbor's is a small, mighty, and neighborly crew. Their team is made up of mothers, makers, artists, and farmers — all bound by a shared love of slow living, meaningful work, and doing things the right way.
