Welcome to Urban Slicer Pizza Worx

If you have ever craved the kind of pizza that makes you close your eyes on the first bite, the chewy, perfectly blistered, restaurant-quality kind, you know how hard it is to replicate at home. That is exactly the problem Urban Slicer Pizza Worx was built to solve. Founded by Matt Frampton, a certified Pizzaiolo trained in Italy, Sicily, and America, Urban Slicer brings professional-grade pizza dough mixes right to your kitchen. Whether you are firing up a backyard grill, cranking your home oven to max, or breaking out the pizza stone, these mixes give you the tools to make world-class pizza without the guesswork.

Urban Slicer's lineup covers every pizza craving you could have: a high-gluten Neapolitan Style dough for that airy, bubbly, wood-fired crust; an Outdoor Grilling Dough designed to cook directly on the grates for a thin and crispy masterpiece; an Epic Deep Dish mix for the cheese-loaded, pan-style pizza lover; and a Gluten Free option that is free of all nine major allergens. Round it out with their rich, Sicilian-inspired Pizza Sauce and signature Pizza Mojo seasonings, and you have everything you need for a truly epic pizza night. Best of all, every mix is as simple as adding water, meaning less time measuring and more time eating.

About Us

Just a Guy Who Won't Stop Cooking

Urban Slicer is just a guy who won't stop cooking, indoors, outdoors, in every oven and on every surface he can find. A guy who has been relentlessly chasing better dough, better flavor, and better pizza. He is a graduate of the International School of Pizza and a certified Pizzaiolo from Italy, Sicily, and America, but don't let that scare you. At the end of the day, he is just a family guy named Matt who built Urban Slicer so anyone, anywhere, can crank out world-class pizza at home.

From BBQ Champion to Pizza Obsessive

Before Urban Slicer became a nationwide brand available in all 50 states and on four continents, Matt Frampton was an Omaha-based competitive pitmaster, barbecue champion, and author of The Book on Competition BBQ. He had built a loyal following through his popular website, BBQRevolution.com, and had appeared on TV shows like BBQ Pitmasters. Pizza was not even in the plan, that is, until he added a pizza recipe to his BBQ site and noticed something remarkable: it kept getting more traffic than anything else he had ever posted.

People just kept asking about it, Matt has said. Questions and comments about pizza always seemed to come up the most. After a while, he became known as the pizza guy. He and his wife Starr realized they might be on to something bigger than barbecue.

Three Years in the Making

What followed was three years of obsessive development. Matt wanted to create a high-quality pizza dough that was simple and easy to make, so he sought advice from trusted friends and industry contacts, tested flavors for over 15 months, sourced premium ingredients, and refined his formulas until they were exactly right. He looked at ingredients from Italy but ultimately found excellent options made right here in the United States. The result was Urban Slicer Pizza Worx: a full line of pizza dough mixes, sauces, and seasonings designed to help anyone make the best pizza of their life.

The Man Behind the Dough

Matt Frampton is a world-class pizza addict, an avid outdoor cook, and a trusted brand ambassador and World Food Championship chef. He has spent decades honing his craft across competition pits, professional kitchens, and his own backyard. But what truly sets him apart is his generosity with that knowledge. When you buy Urban Slicer, you do not just get great products, you get Matt, too. Need help dialing in your dough, oven, or technique? He is just an email or chat away. Because great pizza should be fun, approachable, and shared.
