About Us

Hello, my name is Lidia Giske and I run my business with my daughter Anika. I grew up in Boleslawiec Poland, where Polish Pottery is made. There are quite a few different factories, but the factory that we carry is very special to me. My brother opened Ceramika Kalich in 2001, where he began producing unique patterns and shapes. The factory is a small family owned business, whereas some of the larger factories have hundreds of workers, Ceramika Kalich only has 25. With a smaller factory the artists really focus on quality over quantity. We work with the artists to bring some of our ideas to life, so that they can be enjoyed by all. I grew up using Polish Pottery, and now it has made its way into my children's homes.
