The Rest of the Story
Margo Paige
A Note from Margo, Our Founder
Margo Paige was founded to find solutions to fashion challenges I was experiencing in my own life: a need for a specific product (lookin' at you, clear handbags, our flagship product!), a desire for sustainable and approachable closet staples, and to do my part to protect our planet and its people. At the time, I was not a product designer or fashion industry expert, but I knew what was important to me and wanted to reflect this in my brand.
The deeper I dove into the fashion industry, the more I learned about some of the negative impacts of this world. I learned how genuinely important it is for us to make thoughtful purchases when it comes to fashion. Our fashion is a reflection of ourselves: our style and creativity, our ethics, and even the health of our homes and planet. As the founder of a fashion brand, I deeply appreciate the importance of creating sustainable and values-driven products and helping to reshape the industry that we are a part of.
My vision for Margo Paige is for our brand and products to feel approachable and livable, with sustainability as our foundation. Just like years ago when I created clear handbags because I needed one myself, I am still thinking about products that I would like to see in my own closet, while prioritizing values that I want to see in my own community. I love building a wardrobe full of multi-functional and seasonless pieces that encourage creativity and originality in my style. I just do not love what fast fashion has done to our planet and people, and I am fortunate to be in a position to do something about it.
I am tired of feeling overwhelmed by excess and waste, of being charged a premium for the word sustainability, and of low-quality fast fashion products remaining an acceptable norm. I started Margo Paige to address needs in my own life and closet that did not exist on the market, and I am proud to be growing a brand that tackles these issues of sustainability, accessibility, and holistic living through the lens of fashion.
Sustainability as a Foundation, Not a Marketing Word
Every Margo Paige product is designed with sustainability built into its construction. Clear bags are made from certified recycled materials. The Cupro apparel line uses a circular, low-waste textile derived from cotton production byproducts that would otherwise be discarded. The Tech Woven line delivers performance and sustainability together. All manufacturing partners are vetted against high ethical standards, with Higg Index-compliant facilities and Global Recycled Standard materials forming the backbone of the supply chain. Margo is actively pursuing certifications including a future B Corp Certification as a tool for transparency and accountability.
Think Circular: The Product Takeback Program
Margo Paige offers a company-funded product takeback program: when your Margo Paige goods have run their course, the brand will recycle them for you. This is not a greenwashing gesture. It is a real operational commitment to the idea that the brand is responsible for the full life cycle of what it makes, not just the sale. It is the kind of end-to-end thinking that is rare in fashion at any price point, and it is one of the things that makes Margo Paige genuinely different from brands that simply use sustainable materials as a marketing claim.
Designed for the Way You Actually Live
The Margo Paige woman packs a lot into her day, and her wardrobe needs to keep up. That means multi-functional bags that transition from a work lunch to a stadium concert without swapping out. It means apparel in seasonless silhouettes that work from morning meetings to evening out. It means a clear bag that does not look like a grocery bag at a music festival. Margo designs everything with this real, full life in mind, and the result is a brand that feels personal because it came from someone who was solving her own problems first.
