Introducing

Provincetown Fudge Factory

If you have ever walked down Commercial Street in Provincetown and been stopped in your tracks by the smell of fudge cooking in a copper pot, you already know Provincetown Fudge Factory. For more than 40 years, this Cape Cod shop has been hand crafting fudge, truffles, turtles, peanut butter cups, and a whole lineup of chocolate and candy treats using their original family recipe, the same one they started with back in 1984.

What makes Provincetown Fudge Factory different is that they have never traded tradition for speed. Every batch of fudge is made with real butter, milk, cream, sugar, brown sugar, corn syrup, and 100 percent pure chocolate, and it takes a full 4 to 8 hours of cooking, cooling, and hand paddling in copper pots to bring a single batch to life. There is no shortcut version of this fudge. Whether you are picking up a box on vacation or having it shipped to your door, you are getting the same rich, creamy, old-fashioned treat that has made this little shop famous.

The Rest of the Story

Provincetown Fudge Factory

Celebrating 40 Years in Provincetown

Provincetown Fudge Factory, located on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, has been making world-famous fudge since 1984. Made with our original family recipe, we hand craft our award-winning fudge the old-fashioned way, in small batches with only the finest ingredients. Our homemade fudge is simply the best there is.

The Craft Behind Every Batch

Made daily during peak season with fresh ingredients like real butter, milk, cream, sugar, brown sugar, corn syrup and 100% pure chocolate, it takes 4 to 8 hours to make a single batch from start to finish. It's a good thing they make more than one batch at a time. Cooking, cooling, and hand paddling in copper pots are the three key steps performed to create some of the richest, creamiest fudge around.

The People Behind the Pots

Provincetown Fudge Factory is kept running by a team that takes real pride in the craft, including talented chocolatiers and fudge makers who have spent years perfecting the copper pot process. Stop by the Ptown store any summer morning and watch the traditional, copper pot fudge-making in action. Don't forget to ask for a sample.

A Provincetown Landmark
