How Stubbin Started It All

ReNewedPet was founded in 2015 through the vision of founder April Arguin, a Certified Pet Nutritionist and Pet Master Herbalist, to provide better, safer, more natural products made especially for hairless pet breeds. At the time, April was dealing with a severe skin allergy problem in her own cat Stubbin and was desperately trying to find him some relief.

April had previously become very interested in natural skin and health care products and had already been making personal skin care products for several years. One day, while applying her own handmade skin oil, she was struck with the idea that what her cat, as well as all hairless pets, needed was a better solution for their unique sensitive skin. That was when the very first ReNewedPet product, the skin conditioner, was born. What began as one cat's relief became a full company built around the same standard of care.

A Small Team with Deep Pet Expertise

ReNewedPet has grown into a genuine team effort, with each member bringing real, lived expertise to the work. Wendy Arguin serves as owner and manager, dividing her time between overseeing the business and continuing to breed and raise sphynx and bambino cats for families across the country. Born and raised in rural New Hampshire, Wendy has worked with hairless cat breeds since 2009 and brings deep, hands-on knowledge of the special dietary, grooming, and health needs these breeds require.

April Arguin, the founder and creator, holds an AS degree in science and previously practiced as a registered dental hygienist. She began breeding sphynx and bambino cats in 2006 and has since become a Certified Pet Nutritionist and Certified Master Pet Herbalist. April shares daily pet-tip videos with the ReNewedPet community, manages the brand's social media, and offers virtual pet health consultations for community pets in need of healing.

Andy serves as lead artisan and shipper. Though new to small business, he is a lifelong cat lover whose own cat Einstein lived to the remarkable age of 22, and he now shares his home with a sphynx named Sapphire. Andy spent most of his professional life cooking in kitchens, and he has brought that same care and craft to creating every ReNewedPet product by hand, packaging and shipping each order personally to ensure safe, timely arrival.

Not only do we ensure we are using only the best all-natural, non-GMO, and organic products for the safety and health of your pets, but we are very mindful of the earth in all we do and use recycled materials in all of our packaging to keep our business as green and earth-friendly as possible. Beyond this, we believe in the great power of generosity, and we believe wholeheartedly in the intangible power of giving more than you receive in this life. In alignment with our mission to bring the best care to companion animals through our products, we donate 1% of our total yearly profits each year to our local Humane Society to help pets currently in need of medical attention and a life-long home.
