Sauce Daddy started with an engineer, a backyard garden, and a big problem: boredom. I was in the middle of meal prep, eating my 357th dry chicken breast, when I asked myself the question, "When's the last time you enjoyed what you ate?" I couldn't remember, so I decided to do something about it.

Grown From a Personal Garden

Our Original Sauce Daddy flavor was born from ingredients all grown from my personal garden. My mother's Caribbean roots inspired the simple flavors and a thicker texture than you find in typical sauces, along with a commitment to make food from raw, fresh ingredients that we hold to this day. No preservatives, additives, or false flavors.

From a Backyard Garden to a Nationwide Sensation

I founded this business in 2020, making sauces for my friends from my own garden. What started as a fun personal project has turned into a local sensation in the Huntsville food scene. Customers couldn't get enough, and we've been moving ever since. Because good food doesn't have to be boring.

A Mission Rooted in Loss and Love

Dogs are also a large part of how Sauce Daddy came to be. The founder's own dog, Hamburger, was his closest companion for five years before passing on Good Friday in 2023. That loss lit a fire to help others, and creating a future where pet owners can focus on building loving relationships with their pets, free of the burden of prohibitive veterinary costs, is very important to the Sauce Daddy team today.

With every bottle of Sauce Daddy hot sauce you purchase, you are contributing to a greater cause. Sauce Daddy is proud to donate a percentage of profits to the Greater Huntsville Humane Society, an organization that has been rescuing North Alabama's homeless animals for more than 50 years. With customers' help, Sauce Daddy has donated over $4,000 to GHHS.
