This premium extra virgin olive oil is infused with the warm, spicy aromas of harissa, a North African condiment that combines roasted red and green chili peppers, garlic, coriander, caraway, saffron, and spices. It is excellent as a base for a lamb marinade or tossed into couscous. It also makes a wonderful finishing oil for all sorts of soups and stews.
Culinary Perks:
To add some punch to your pasta, Harissa Olive Oil is wonderful with all'Amatriciana or Fra Diavolo (with seafood or sausage). It is also excellent as a marinade for whole roasted chicken over potatoes. In more traditional use, it is used with grilled lamb, couscous salads, or hummus.
