We start with our dark chocolate and work in real peanut butter, pushing it as far as we can while still keeping that clean snap of a chocolate bar. Any more, and it would be a spread. The result is a more subtle peanut butter flavor that shows up alongside the cocoa, not on top of it.
It’s not trying to be the most complex bar on the shelf. It’s just plain good. The kind you reach for when you want something simple, familiar, and done right.
Maker’s note: I love peanut butter, so this bar started as something I made for myself. Turns out a lot of people were looking for the same thing, so it found its way into our regular rotation.
If you’re after a peanut butter cup, this isn’t that. If you want something a little more grounded, you’re in the right place.
